(LIVE) To follow up on the previous posting today, John Edwards and his wife Elizabeth have just announced that her cancer has recurred, and has moved into the bone. Although seemingly grim news, this diagnosis, according to the couple, is not a death sentence. The cancer cannot be cured, but it can be treated and controlled - like diabetes they said. Indeed, the couple made a televised appearance to show that she is not symptomatic, other than some pain in her ribs, and appears to be in good health, otherwise. Let's hope Elizabeth remains alive and well for years to come. Regarding the campaign, Edwards said (moments ago), "The campaign goes on. The campaign goes on strongly."
