Obama's Controversial Voting Record?

This article analyzes some of Senator Barack Obama's voting record as an Illinois state senator. It appears his most "controversial" vote, at least, to pro-lifers, was to oppose a law that would require medical care for aborted fetuses that can sometimes "survive" for several hours after the procedure. I'm not sure why an aborted fetus would need medical care, but hey, someone will probably have an answer for that. He also has a strong record on gun control, although, interestingly, he voted to allow retired police and military officers to carry concealed weapons. Overall, his record appears to be relatively balanced, but of course, leans to the liberal side. Nothing too surprising here.
